This show featured the music of Phillip Wilkerson.

I was inspired by Still Point, Phillips upcoming collection which he was generous enough to send me a copy of.  After listening to it several times, I dipped back into Phillip’s back catalogue and decided I really wanted to feature more of his music.

Phil has a wonderful approach to ambient music.  He has a great ear for resonance and for letting sounds speak for themselves.  I know he puts a lot of effort into his music, but the result sounds effortless.

Phil has been extremely generous in releasing his music free via the Internet.  I highly encourage you to dig further into his catalogue.  There are plenty of gems.
